The Shadow Men review round-up, week 2

Week 2 of The Shadow Men’s book tour has come to a close, so it’s time for another round-up of reviews. I’m pleased to say that Week 1’s winning streak has continued, with yet another plethora of praise for Anna Scavolini’s third outing. Here are some choice highlights…

John’s Bookshelf gives it 5 stars, saying that it’s “an excellent book, very well written and executed, and I recommend it to all readers of crime thrillers”. ReadReadNoSleepRepeat also awards it five stars, describing it as “full of twists and turns that had me guessing until the end”; “a fabulously gripping, rollercoaster of a read that kept me on the edge of my seat and left me wanting more”.

Two more 5-star reviews come from Lisa Reads – who “did not want this book to end” and found it “a real joy to read”, and bought paperbacks of the entire series on the strength of it – and Reading in the Light, who “couldn’t put [it] down” and “didn’t want [it] to end”.

The Running Bookworm 2020 “loved this book”, while Jen_F88 describes it as “a great read” that “headed in directions I wasn’t expecting”. Read, Drink and Be Happy was impressed with the character development and intertwining of the various plot lines, calling it “a brilliant crime thriller to add to the collection”.

Finally, Vicarious Living calls it “one fast, chilling read”, tackling “a current as well as a relevant issue”, and Jade’s Life Journey “loved this book” and its multiple twists, suggesting that it would “make an amazing TV series” that “would definitely be one you would binge watch” – a refrain that’s run through a number of the reviews published over the last couple of weeks.

If these reviews piqued your interest, you can grab your copy today on Kindle at the early bird price of £1.99 (UK)/$2.99 (US) – a 50% discount that will remain in place until the end of the book tour.

Check back next week for the third and final round of review highlights!
